How I Loved You...
This text is part of a cycle of columns under the title “How I Loved You”, in which theater and film personalities, professors, poets, priests, writers, artists, ordinary and famous people will be evoked, people known over time by the author. The column evokes Emil Botta, an actor for whom the scene became a window through which he traveled beyond. His appearances in movies, no matter how short, have always been inscribed on the soul retina. During the interwar period he was part of a group of young intellectuals alongside Emil Cioran, Eugen Ionescu, Horia Stamatu, young people who defied half-learning through their writing and attitude. He was a man of great talent and great sensitivity.
