The article evokes a meeting between the author and the Metropolitan Bartolomeu Anania, meeting that took place in Nicula monastery and when Patriarch Justinian Marina was remembered. Metropolitan Bartolomeu dismantled the old cliché that the priest Ioan Marina of Valcea had become bishop and patriarch after the intervention of Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej, which he would have sheltered after escaping from prison.
