The text is a speech delivered at the event of the "Academic Days of Cluj" held in Cluj-Napoca between 3 and 8 June 2014. Academic training can make a man self-aware, it provides necessary knowledge to intellectually accomplish himself and be useful to the world. However, the Church offers him intense spiritual experience and the sanctity of life, which make him citizen of the Kingdom of God. For the Church gives him the grace, the uncreated energy that flows from Christ through the Sacraments. The Academy cultivates the spirit and the Church sanctifies life. Academy improves living conditions, so that man can concern himself with spiritual life, inner improvement.
